The first regular direct passenger air route between Shenzhen and Nepal commenced operations Friday. The Shenzhen–Kathmandu route is operated by Himalaya Airlines, a Sino‑Nepalese joint venture, using an Airbus A320 aircraft. Flights run twice a week on a fixed schedule. The outbound flight (H9986) takes off from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport at 5:55 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, landing in Kathmandu at 8:35 a.m. local time. The return flight (H9985) departs from Kathmandu at 9:50 p.m. local time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, arriving in Shenzhen at 4:30 a.m. the next day |
