As the Shenzhen-based company’s first consumer-facing “hyper-bionic” companion robots, the models boast 88 degrees of freedom, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 2 to 4 hours of battery life. To ensure privacy, the robots utilize on-device encrypted memory to power emotional AI models. With customizable appearances and a price tag between 100,000 and 200,000 yuan (US$14,735-29,470), the series has already secured over 13,000 reservations on JD.com and Tmall since June 2, according to the ceremony. Deliveries are slated to begin in mid-September.Courtesy of UBTECH |
