Shenzhen Airlines’ first Airbus A350 makes its official debut at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport on Tuesday. Named “Kunpeng” — after the legendary roc that serves as the city’s nickname — the aircraft completed its maiden commercial flight to Beijing yesterday. Featuring a refreshed cabin interior and a fuselage design that blends Lingnan cultural heritage with modern innovation, the A350 is now serving premium trunk routes from Shenzhen to Beijing and Shanghai. This delivery marks the first of five A350s for the airline, significantly bolstering its wide-body fleet. With a range of 15,000 km, the A350 overcomes the limitations of the existing A330 fleet, enabling Shenzhen Airlines to launch non-stop services to Europe, Australia, and the U.S. West Coast.
