“Robot students” make their debut at the Hangzhou Robot School, which opened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, on Tuesday. As China's first comprehensive robotics industry platform, the school is built around brain empowerment and agent integration, with the goal of accelerating product maturation and real-world robotic deployment. Its inaugural cohort of 30 robot students will be trained across four specialized academies — technical, health, arts, and physical education. The curriculum spans ethical safety, sensory perception, motor performance, aesthetic expression, and hands-on scenario training, all designed to cultivate well-rounded robotic capabilities for the future.
