NINETY years ago, American journalist Edgar Snow traveled deep into revolutionary northwestern China and wrote “Red Star Over China,” introducing the Communist Party of China to the world. This July, Snow’s family members, as well as scholars and students from China and abroad, walked the same path in Tongxin County, Ningxia, visiting former Red Army sites and retracing the journey that changed how the world saw China.(SD News)
