NaviX Ultra, the world’s first mass-produced AI agent smartphone, makes its debut at the 2026 World AI Conference (WAIC), which wrapped up in Shanghai on Monday. Produced by Nubia under Shenzhen-based ZTE, the device is China’s first smartphone to feature a filed and approved on-device agent large model. Built around four core capabilities — understanding, execution, memory and security — the phone uses a system-level GUI Agent architecture to autonomously recognize screen content and coordinate multi-step tasks across mainstream apps via MCP and A2A official protocols.
