Willa Ping, G9,平欣蕾 Long ago, two mighty angels lived in the sky. One was Michael, who dwelt in heaven. He met a kind girl named Lily and decided to teach her all his skills. He trained her to wield the power of light — to defend the weak, to be brave, and never to harm others. Michael always reminded her that true strength lies in protection, not in conquest. The other was Lucifer, a fallen angel who ruled the darkness. He valued victory above all else. He also chose a bright girl named Su and taught her the arts of shadow — to fight fiercely and never give up. Lucifer instilled in her the belief that winning was the only thing that mattered in this world. Over time, both Lily and Su grew into formidable warriors. One day, their masters ordered them to engage in a great battle. A crowd gathered to witness the clash. Su unleashed all her dark powers, striking at Lily again and again, eager to claim a swift victory. But Lily remained calm and steadfast. She parried every blow with radiant light and never struck back in anger. She was careful not to seriously injure her opponent. In the end, Lily won the battle. Yet she showed neither pride nor arrogance. Instead, she walked over to Su and gently helped her to her feet. “I don’t want to fight you,” Lily said softly. “Can we stop this and be friends?” Su was astonished. She had expected mockery, but Lily’s kindness disarmed her. After a moment’s thought, she nodded in agreement. Michael and Lucifer watched from above and both smiled with quiet approval. What the masters did not realize, however, was that their apprentices were not entirely satisfied with them — for each had begun to question whether light and darkness had to be enemies at all. |
