Top a cappella group to sing in Shenzhen
    2026-07-29  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

RESOUND Vocal Group, China’s premier a cappella group by scale and touring reach, is set to captivate Shenzhen audiences on Aug. 22 with their “Wonderful Vocal Journey” concert.

Founded in 2012, Resound has established itself as the country’s most recognized a cappella ensemble. The group comprises original musicians, music producers, vocal teachers, and professional singers who have earned widespread acclaim for their performance standards and mature musical style.

Their credentials speak for themselves. The group claimed the National A Cappella Championship and Best Arrangement award in 2015, and took home Best Lead Vocal at the Japan International A Cappella Competition in 2019. It has also represented China’s premier a cappella talent on major television platforms.

With over 8 million followers across social media platforms, Resound has built a massive digital following that underscores their broad appeal. The group has performed over 100 dedicated concerts across the country, bringing their pure and captivating vocal music to hundreds of thousands of live audience members.

Since their first dedicated a cappella concert in 2015, the group has pioneered the “Chinese a cappella” concert format, launching five editions to date: “Ideal Human Voice” (2016), “A Lifetime of Songs” (2018), “Seven Years of Itch” (2019), “10th Anniversary Special” (2022), and “Wonderful Vocal Journey” (2024). Their setlists feature beloved classics and original compositions, all delivered with high-energy audience interaction that showcases the pure, moving power of the human voice.

The Shenzhen performance will include selections from animated classics and film scores, performed entirely with vocal arrangements.
