Five research teams from SMBU secured spots on the list of approved projects for Shenzhen’s Key Industry R&D Program, it was recently announced by the Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Bureau. The five research teams from the Faculty of Materials Science and the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute are deeply involved in joint research initiatives led by local enterprises to tackle critical core technologies, securing nearly 3.5 million yuan (US$517,300) in total R&D funding. The inclusion represents a significant breakthrough for SMBU in driving collaborative innovation and serving local industries.
