Two projects led by the Faculty of Materials Science have made it into the list of projects approved for the 2025 International Science and Technology Cooperation program that was recently released by the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department. It is the first time that SMBU has secured approvals into the list. Professor Chang Shuai is leading a joint research effort with teams from Russia and Belarus to develop novel materials and devices for lighting and displays. Meanwhile, Associate Professor Zhou Xiaoye is leading a collaborative project with research groups from Russia and Hong Kong to investigate phase transition mechanisms and key technologies in the thermal hydrogen treatment of titanium alloys used in aviation. |
