Burdyganov Petr, a 2023-class undergraduate student majoring in Chinese Language and Literature, secured the second prize in the International Students Category at the national finals of the Seventh Chinese Classics Recitation, Writing, and Speaking Competition.

Competing in the “Recite China” Classic Recitation segment, Petr impressed the judging panel with his solo recitation of the famous Chinese poem “Dreaming of Traveling Tianmu Mountain: A Farewell Song.”

SMBU team to represent China at global finals

A student team from the Faculty of Economics — comprising Li Zeyu, Tan Tianyu, Li Sihan, Fang Jialian, and Xiong Ruiqi — has crowned themselves champions of the China division in the 30th Global Management Challenge (GMC).

The team will represent China at the global finals in September, where they will compete against teams from over 30 countries and regions.
