Domestic flight fuel surcharges lowered again
    2026-08-06  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

China’s domestic flight fuel surcharges have been cut for the third time since June, with the latest reduction taking effect for tickets purchased on or after yesterday, Chinese media reported. Passengers on routes longer than 800 kilometers will pay a 70-yuan (US$10.4) surcharge, while those on routes of 800 kilometers or less will pay 40 yuan — reductions of 30 yuan and 10 yuan, respectively. The move is expected to further lower travel costs and boost summer air travel and tourism spending
