Tea is pure, just like my hometown

Tea is something I know very well. I have been drinking it since childhood, and over time it has become an important part of my daily life. When I first tried tea, I found it bitter and astringent. But slowly, I learned to appreciate its unique flavor. After each sip, a gentle sweetness would linger in my mouth.

My grandparents also love making and drinking tea. They run a small teahouse in Lufeng, where many different kinds of tea are served. I often go there to help them. On weekends, I help put away tea leaves and tidy up the teahouse.

Drinking tea with my family brings me a deep sense of warmth and peace, and I truly enjoy this simple, happy life.

Now let me talk about the benefits of tea. Drinking tea is not only a pleasant habit, but also very good for our health. It can help keep us away from many illnesses and refresh both body and mind.

After a long day of studying or working, a cup of tea helps us relax and feel more energetic. It can also clear the mind and improve concentration. Moreover, sharing tea with family or friends is a healthy and polite way to connect with others.

However, we should be careful not to drink too much tea, especially before bedtime, as it might keep us awake at night.

Finally, I would like to share how tea is picked and made.

I learned from my grandparents that in spring, they pick fresh, tender tea leaves early in the morning. Then they carefully clean, dry, and pan‑fry the leaves. It takes a great deal of time and hard work to produce good tea. Through these steps, the fresh leaves are transformed into fragrant tea.

But the process doesn’t end there.

The tea is then placed into special bags and sealed tightly, so it stays fresh and aromatic for a long time.
