As the 100-day countdown to the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, set for Nov. 18-19 in Shenzhen, began yesterday, Shenzhen extended a global welcome. About 300 participants gathered at the Civic Center in Futian District for a countdown event titled “APEC China 2026 — Gather in Shenzhen, Witness the Wonders.” Across Shenzhen, residents are preparing to welcome the APEC meeting through English and etiquette training, visitor assistance and language support. From delivery riders and Metro staff to international volunteers, people across the city are contributing to a warm and welcoming environment for visitors from all around the world
