Recently, I stayed up until midnight to watch the VCT Masters London 2026 final between LEV and PRX. After watching this thrilling match, I came away with a valuable lesson about never giving up in the face of adversity.

Before the final began, most audiences believed PRX would undoubtedly claim the championship. PRX was a far more experienced and powerful team.

On top of that, LEV had suffered a crushing defeat at PRX’s hands in their last encounter. So I only held a faint hope that LEV could pull off an upset. At the start of the final, LEV lost the first map by a wide margin. At that moment, I almost thought the team stood no chance. However, the young players of LEV did not lose heart. They adjusted their strategies and fought even harder in the following rounds.

By the fourth map, LEV were on the brink of elimination. No one expected them to close the gap and force a decisive fifth map. Even in the final round, after building a commanding lead, they conceded point after point. Fortunately, they kept their composure, stuck to their game plan, and ultimately completed a stunning 3–2 comeback to claim the trophy.

This match made me reflect on my own life. We will always encounter tough challenges that seem impossible to overcome. It is only natural to feel down or anxious when things go wrong, but we should never lose confidence or give up on ourselves. Just like the LEV players, as long as we keep pushing forward and refuse to stop trying, those seemingly unattainable goals can eventually become reality. Persistence has the power to turn hopeless situations into unexpected success.
