Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport has launched a 24/7 tax refund service. Foreign travelers and visitors from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan whose eligible purchases have been verified by Shenzhen Customs can claim refunds at the airport’s designated tax refund counter at any time. Self-service kiosks installed at the counter by the Shenzhen branch of Bank of China allow travelers to complete the entire tax refund process in less than two minutes. Reportedly the first of their kind in China, the kiosks support 13 languages and can disburse tax refunds to domestic and international bank cards, third-party payment platforms and digital yuan hardware wallets |
