THE International Service Center at Shenzhen North Railway Station’s east square is now open, the first of its kind in the city to integrate currency exchange, volunteer services, and corporate product displays.

The center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with extended hours during public holidays as needed.

As part of Longhua District’s 10 major internationalization initiatives this year, the center offers travelers one-stop access to multilingual consultation and interpretation supported by real-time translation devices, foreign-exchange services, exit and entry permits, guidance on foreign-related policies, and displays of high-tech products.

Local companies, including iFlytek, Triumph Glass, Meituan Technology, NanoAR and SUNTA, contributed equipment such as AI translation screens, power-generating glass and surveillance cameras.

The center has a multilingual volunteer team that includes 66 public servants, more than 20 government employees with foreign-language skills, expatriates from more than 50 countries, and student and corporate volunteers.

The center also serves as a gateway to the Longhua International Cooperation Center, which provides services in 43 languages and more than 500 services related to the APEC Business Travel Card — designed to facilitate the movement of business travelers between APEC member economies.
