The Taizi Bay Coastal Sports Center opened in Shekou on Saturday, becoming the first large-scale comprehensive coastal water sports facility in Shenzhen’s downtown core. Located between Shekou Cruise Homeport and the Sea World Culture and Arts Center, the sports center combines coastal sightseeing, water sports, recreation and event hosting. It is designed to cater to both casual visitors and professional athletes. Visitors can take part in a range of water-based activities, including paddleboarding, kayaking and electric surfboarding.
