On Nov. 20, 2020, the 27th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting was held by video conference, chaired by Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin under the theme “Optimizing Human Potential Toward a Resilient Future of Shared Prosperity.” The meeting adopted the APEC Putrajaya Vision 2040 and issued the Kuala Lumpur Declaration.
