    2026-09-11  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

FACULTY and students across Shenzhen’s University Town campuses can now enjoy a smoother commuting experience with the launch of a new campus shuttle bus service.

Shenzhen Bus Group has officially begun trial operation of the University Town Campus Shuttle, designed primarily to serve students and staff residing in the University Town International Campus area who need to travel to and from the West Campus. The service also accommodates the commuting needs of faculty and students from the Shenzhen Institute of Future Technology, providing convenient connections to Metro stations and bridging the “last mile” of campus transportation.

The route links multiple universities’ teaching buildings, research and office facilities, residential areas, conference centers and other key points across the campus network, offering efficient and convenient on-campus connectivity for the university community.

Shuttle details

Terminal: University Town International Campus

Major stops: Gate 2, Hanyuan Mingyuan Zone B (Metro Line 5’s Changlingpi Station), HIT Comprehensive Building, HIT Information Building, University Town Conference Center, Tsinghua Teaching Building, Tsinghua Information Building, Peking University HSBC Building, PKU residential area, swimming pool

Service hours: Trial operation runs until Nov. 24, with daily service from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Shenzhen Bus Group will continue to collect feedback from faculty and students to further optimize the micro-transit network within University Town and deliver more precise, user-friendly public transportation services.
