AI-powered services expand across Shenzhen parks
    2026-09-15  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A robotic clerk serves ice cream to visitors at Shenzhen Talent Park in Nanshan District. Shenzhen parks had deployed 21 types of AI applications across more than 400 sites by the end of 2025. More than 200 coffee-making robots are now in operation, selling 420,000 cups and generating more than 3.9 million yuan (US$581,000) in revenue in 2025. In May, the country’s first open-source, HarmonyOS-based embodied robot for freshly prepared food debuted at Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park. The robot allows visitors to place orders by tapping a screen and serves food in about 30 seconds. Nearly 30 such robots are now in use across more than 20 parks in the city.Xinhua
