As the new semester begins, a fresh cohort of international students — hailing from the United States, Russia, Australia, Pakistan, El Salvador, Brazil, Vietnam, Thailand and beyond — has enrolled at Chinese colleges like Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to study TCM physiotherapies, including cupping, acupuncture, moxibustion, and bone-setting treatments.
