The new hall of the Shenzhen Cultural Center, the largest single-building cultural center in China by floor area, opened yesterday morning for trial operation in Longhua District. The venue brings together a theater, exhibition halls, classrooms, reading spaces and an outdoor plaza, covering functions from arts training and performances to exhibitions, library services and intangible cultural heritage. Opening exhibitions include a special display of reproductions from the “Complete Library of the Four Treasuries,” “Crafted for Eternity: Construction Techniques of the Forbidden City,” and “Sanxingdui: Light and Shadow of Shu,” an XR immersive experience.
