BLIZZARD Entertainment, the world-renowned video game developer and publisher behind some of the most iconic franchises in gaming history, is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, and fans in China will have the opportunity to experience the milestone in a spectacular way through a series of live symphony performances across the country. The official Blizzard 35th Anniversary Game Symphony Concert, part of a seven-city China tour, will bring the company’s most iconic musical scores to Shenzhen this November. The concert will feature legendary Blizzard composer and music director Jason Hayes on the podium, alongside Video Games Live (VGL) founder Tommy Tallarico as host. Together, they will lead a full symphony orchestra and choir through the iconic scores from Blizzard’s vast universe, including “World of Warcraft,” “Diablo,” “StarCraft,” “Hearthstone,” “Heroes of the Storm,” and “Overwatch.” The event promises a deeply immersive experience, combining live symphonic music with high-definition visuals on a large screen. The world-premiere visual content includes a super-high-definition remastered version of the classic “World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King” cinematic, the latest trailer for “World of Warcraft: The Dark Heart,” and selected scenes from “Diablo II: Resurrected.” This synchronized audio-visual presentation is designed to transport audiences back into the familiar, epic worlds that have defined a generation of gaming. The repertoire has also been expanded for this anniversary tour. In addition to beloved classics, the concert will include the world premiere of music from “Diablo II: Resurrected,” a special treat for the Chinese audience. The musical journey will traverse the history of Blizzard, from the early days of “StarCraft” to the heroic anthems of “Overwatch.” Beyond the performance, fans can look forward to themed photo zones, exclusive tour merchandise booths, and interactive sessions. Both Jason Hayes and Tommy Tallarico will participate in signing sessions for VIP ticketholders, marking their first such interactions in China.
