The 27th Shenzhen Reading Month will kick off on Nov. 1, featuring 50 major events and nearly 3,000 related activities, organizers said. This year’s edition will launch the Asia-Pacific Youth Joint Reading Initiative and debut “What Is Shenzhen,” an APEC-themed bilingual Chinese-English publication. Shenzhen’s reading initiatives will also be featured in a special 80th-anniversary issue of The UNESCO Courier, to be presented in multiple languages to more than 190 countries and regions, the organizers said.
