Exports of robots made in Shenzhen to other APEC economies totaled 4.86 billion yuan (US$730 million) in the first three quarters of this year, up 7.5 times from the same period a year earlier, Shenzhen Customs said Wednesday. Shenzhen’s trade with other APEC economies rose 40% year over year to 3.23 trillion yuan during the period, the highest total among Chinese mainland cities. Electromechanical products accounted for 77.7% of the city’s exports. Exports of integrated circuits, 3D printing equipment and industrial automation equipment also continued to grow strongly
