Wedding shows mark the spring
    2011-04-01  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    ‘World of Weddings’ at

    InterContinental Shenzhen

A wedding fair was held last Saturday at InterContinental Shenzhen, which aimed to display a variety of types of wedding parties and banquets for all the newlyweds.

The gala show presented three types of weddings recommended to lovers: the British royal style — which featured a ceremony at the hotel chapel and the newlyweds dressed in a royal way; the Brazilian style — which was set beside the hotel’s swimming pool and featured Latin elements; and the Spanish style following the hotel’s Spanish theme. Courses offered at the wedding banquets were also presented, which covered a wide range of cuisines to serve the hotel’s high-end guests.

Attracted by the hotel’s worldwide cuisines and quality service, more than 10 would-be couples have agreed as a direct result of the fair to hold their wedding banquets at the hotel. The hotel said it was still negotiating with another 30 prospective couples.

The hotel said its experienced, dedicated, and caring wedding professionals will take guests through the planning of the wedding, from their initial visit to choosing the perfect menu. Every flower, every morsel, every song, every moment. The hotel claims to satisfy all the guests’ needs through either Western, Chinese or royal-style weddings.
