STARWOOD Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, one of the world’s leading hotel management groups, announced Four Points by Sheraton had recently been voted by the Best Mid Range Hotel Brand in Greater China at the recent TTG China Travel Awards 2011.

The votes were from readers of TTG China, TTG Asia, TTG-BTmice China and TTGmice through online and print voting. It is the second time the brand has won this award since 2009.

Guests receive free bottled water, free Wi-Fi in public spaces and free internet access in all guestrooms.

Four Points’ triumph in the TTG China Travel Awards comes as the brand continues a global expansion. Four Points will open 14 new hotels in the Asia Pacific region by 2014. In Greater China, there are 12 Four Points hotels operating in Beijing, Guangzhou, Taipei, Shenzhen, Lhasa, Hangzhou, Lianyungang, Qingdao, Tai’an, Taicang and two properties in Shanghai. Within the next three to five years, the brand will double its footprint in the region opening at least 11 hotels on the Shenzhou Peninsula, Sanya, Hefei, and Yangzhou.
