SHANGRI-LA Hotel, Shenzhen is promoting the famous Jamon Iberico at its 360° Bar, Restaurant and Lounge until the end of this month. Jamon Iberico is produced from acorn-fed black-footed Iberico pigs in Spain. The meat from the pigs is reputed to be the finest ham in the world. Iberico ham is cured for 24 months and it loses nearly half of its weight as the fat melts away. It is served in paper-thin slices on a plate with baguette, preserved prunes, honeydew melon and figs. The ham has a complex taste that is sweet and nutty, distinct marbling, a deep red color and an intense ham flavor that comes from the monounsaturated fat. Located on the top two floors of the hotel building, 360° Bar, Restaurant and Lounge offers exciting Western cuisine, refreshing cocktails and the largest selection of wine in Guangdong with superb views of Hong Kong’s New Territories and Shenzhen’s skyline.
