The Pavilion welcomes 2012 with new services
    2011-12-23  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE Pavilion has put up its festive season decorations. A large Christmas tree stands on the fountain square, brightening the area and inspiring passers-by to slow down.

The hotel has regained its grandeur, tranquility and convenience since the three-year-long Metro construction in front of it was finally completed. The front door of the hotel, which was next to the construction site of a Metro Line 3 station, is no longer shielded by boards.

During the past three years, when the Metro construction was going on, The Pavilion invested tens of millions of yuan in upgrading facilities and services. The guest rooms, restaurants, conference rooms, VIP rooms and the business centers were redecorated. Services and products have also been improved. Decorative LED lights have been installed on the exterior walls, which improve Shenzhen’s overall nighttime scenery. All the decorative lights on the exterior walls were made from green materials. The greenery in front of the hotel has been repaired and has become a quiet garden that separates people from the rustle and hustle of the metropolis. At the fountain square, water spouts out from the edge of the pool and gathers at the center, supporting and swirling a crystal-like stone ball. The beautiful scenes surrounding the hotel attract many people every day.

While improving its environment, the hotel is also improving its services. The hotel has designed a complete set of training courses. Apart from professional skills, staff members have received a series of training on business etiquette, communication skills, time management and world customs. The aim is to provide the best services to guests from China and abroad, and make guests feel at home with well-trained service staff.

A 10-year-old hotel, The Pavilion has put a lot of efforts on building its brand. In 2011, the hotel redesigned its official Web site www.pavilionhotel.com. The Web site is now user-friendly with many new functions such as online booking and VIP application. The hotel has also opened its official microblog to help people get easy access to its latest promotions. A series of activities will be held ahead of the New Year for microblog users who follow the hotel. Participants can enter a prize draw.

The year 2011 has been busy and fruitful for The Pavilion. This year, the hotel successfully served participants of the 26th Summer Universiade, celebrated its 10th anniversary, and won praise from people from all walks of life.
