THE first high-end hotel of the Shenzhen-based Wongtee Group, the V Hotel, opened last Friday.

Located in Huanggang Commercial Center in the CBD of Futian District, it is close to the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The Shenzhen city government building, the Civic Center, is also nearby.

The Hong Kong border and major shopping, sightseeing and business venues are all easily accessible due to the hotel’s proximity to the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center subway station.

Housed in a 60-story building, the hotel is called by industry insiders a “hotel in the clouds,” where guests can enjoy a view from 274 meters above ground.

The hotel has a unique post-modern design both in its outlook and interior deco. There are more than 500 guestrooms, including CEO suites tailored to the needs of high-end business guests.

There are also high-end restaurants, a bar, a red wine club, multifunctional convention rooms, a spa and a gym. The waiting staff are all professionally trained and will be available 24 hours a day.

A real-estate developer aimed at providing the highest level of luxury service, Wongtee Group has been in the city for 15 years. With the opening of the V Hotel, the group has offered one more choice for business guests traveling to Shenzhen.

“The demand has been continuously growing for high-end hotels in Shenzhen,” said Ren Zhonghui, general manager of the hotel. “We will try to offer detailed and considerate services and make our hotel a home away from home for business and leisure travelers.”

A NEW Year countdown party will be held at Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen to welcome the year of the dragon.
