STARWOOD Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s largest hotel groups, announced the grand opening of Sheraton Qingyuan Lion Lake Resort in Qingyuan, Guangdong last week.

An Arabian-themed hotel, the hotel is now the first international Arabian architecture resort in Guangdong Province and aims to become one of the country’s leading upscale hotels.

The opening ceremony was held Feb. 16, which featured the opening of a scroll, speeches and lion dances.

The hotel is part of the Lion Lake leisure and social intercourse platform, which hopes to attract dignitaries and business leaders from around the world with its top-class golf courses, hot spring, international yacht club, cultural exposition and real-estate projects.

“With all these facilities, Sheraton Qingyuan Lion Lake Resort outshines every five-star hotel. With its fine service and facilities, I believe, Sheraton Qingyuan Lion Lake Resort is capable of satisfying you all the time,” said Zheng Jingfen, president of the hotel’s owner Lion Lake Yijiehongtai Co. Ltd.
