Enjoy delicacies at Langham Hotel
    2012-08-24  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

INDULGE your appetite for variety at the T’ang Court of the Langham Hotel Shenzhen in Futian District, which offers Chinese delicacies and has lavish porcelain tableware.

Bone china is a type of soft-paste porcelain that is composed of bone ash and feldspathic material. It contains a minimum of 30 percent phosphate derived from animal bone and calcium phosphate. Developed by English potter Josiah Spode, bone china is known for being pale, translucent and highly resilient.

T’ang Court in Hong Kong is a Michelin-honored institution and visitors to its Shenzhen branch can expect the same attention to detail, authentic Chinese flavors and well-trained staff. Recommended dishes include salted chicken, shrimp ball and fresh vegetables.

Guests looking for an intimate dining experience can choose one of T’ang Court’s eight private dining rooms. Each room is named after a Chinese poet and is decorated in Tang Dynasty (618-907) style.
