AWARD-WINNING Italian restaurant Elba is ready to surprise food lovers again. Starting from March 27, a Michelin star chef from Italy will take you on a world-class gourmet journey over five days until March 31.

    Chef Chen is originally from Shanghai and has worked in Italy for over a decade. Chen started his career as a chef in Italy, and became the only Chinese national who has gained a Michelin star for Italian cuisine in Italy.

    Traveling to China especially for this event, Chen will prepare his signature dishes for local diners at Elba — an elegantly appointed Italian restaurant on the 99th floor of The St. Regis Shenzhen boasting panoramic views of Shenzhen and northern Hong Kong — with top-notch ingredients from Italy.

    Recommended dishes include seared turbot with morels and caper sauce, pumpkin cream risotto with goat milk, amaretti and vinegar, and chateaubriand veal with potato, black truffle and béarnaise.

    A special set menu showcasing Chen’s culinary creations will also be available during this period.
