STARWOOD Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has announced the appointment of Benjamin Ye as the general manager of Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel.

    With over 25 years of extensive management experience in the hospitality industry, Ye, a Shanghai native, has a strong front office, rooms and operations background, which will be a valuable asset for the property and will enable him to manage a successful team.

    Ye has held the position of general manager at Sheraton Fuzhou Hotel, Sheraton Bandara Hotel Jakarta and Four Points by Sheraton Changshu Hotel. In addition to his positions at Starwood, he has worked with the Ritz Carlton Portman, Shangri-La Group and Accor Group.

    This is not his first post with Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel, as he was the executive assistant manager from 2008 to 2009. The hotel said it believes Ye’s return will bring even more success, as well as an even more professional service and luxury experience for both business and leisure guests.
