TO celebrate Christmas, The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan’s lobby has been decorated with Santa Claus vintage chocolate cars with tons of gifts.

    The car, made out of 100-percent refined dark chocolate, stretches about 2 meters long and weights over 250 kg. From the automobile body to its interior, including the rear view mirror, steering wheel, chains, headlights, etc. — every single component is made from pure chocolate.

    This spectacular piece is designed and handmade by pastry chef Jo Yang and his fantastic team and took over 30 days and nights of hard work to make.

    A miniature Santa Claus is sitting behind the steering wheel, accompanied by his elves. The sweet-smelling car carries tons of goodies: a heavenly bed, which is Westin’s signature product, Santa and his reindeer, colorful gift boxes, and lots of candies and chocolates. Along the road, there are a cluster of ginger bread houses, decorated with rainbow M&Ms and fondant snow. A classic red British mailbox is standing at the car’s side.

    The hotel welcomes guests to feel the chocolate sensation at Westin’s lobby.
