Moon cakes at Jing An Shangri-La, West Shanghai
    2015-08-07  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

JING An Shangri-La has prepared seven sleek gift sets with over 10 flavors of moon cakes for this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival. Silk-wrapped Li Yue moon cake boxes contain eight kinds of moon cakes, including black sesame, cranberry and red wine with baked Chinese red dates and walnuts. The luxurious and elegant Zun Yue boxes contain 12 moon cakes, including red bean paste, scallops with XO sauce, lotus with egg yolk and five nuts and bacon and truffle. The Ya Yue mooncake set valued at 298 yuan includes six yolk custard moon cakes. The Shang Yue moon cake set with 12 mooncakes is just 398 yuan.

In addition, the Imperial and Lantern gift hampers also make ideal gifts by pairing moon cakes with Chinese tea, chocolates and red wine. With every moon cake box set purchased, guests will receive a complimentary 100-yuan dining voucher for the hotel’s restaurants Summer Palace or Café Liang.
