THE Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou has announced the appointment of Mr. Karan Jain as the new hotel manager.

    In his new role, he will be assisting Mr. Matthias Vogt, the general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou, leading 600 staff members to further cement the status of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-star Hotel as the choice luxury provider for discerning guests.

    After graduating from the Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland, Jain went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Florida International University before embarking on his decade-long Ritz-Carlton journey in 2003.

    He started his career in food and beverage in Florida. Since then, he immersed himself in the legendary Ritz-Carlton culture working in various Ritz-Carlton properties in the United States, Cayman Islands, Oman and China.

    Jain has developed into a true Ritz-Carlton gentleman who embodies the essence of The Ritz-Carlton philosophy. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of executive assistant manager of food and beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen.(SD News)
