The St. Regis Shenzhen to present creative Italian gourmet
    2017-07-28  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

PERCHED on the 99th floor of The St. Regis Shenzhen, Elba Italian Restaurant is known for its authentic Italian cuisine and the Mediterranean joy of living and cooking.

This summer, chef Stefano Merlo beckons your indulgence with an extensive selection of Apennine menus created using only the freshest seasonal ingredients.

With over 20 years of culinary experience under his belt, Merlo now helms the kitchen at The St. Regis Bangkok’s signature Italian restaurant Jojo. Originally from Padua, he developed his food preparation philosophy based on the theme of “tradition with innovation,” “modern creative and simple with high quality products” and “slow food with a highlight on biodynamic products.”

From July 31 to Aug. 11, Merlo will share his culinary ideas by incorporating Italian influences to the hotel’s overall food and beverage concept.

Guests will enjoy a rich flavor business lunch set during the mentioned period. On Aug. 5, you will also have the chance to cook three of the signature Italian dishes and share your culinary ideas with in the hotel’s culinary class. At the end of the festival, lucky guests can enjoy the luxurious wine dining experience Aug. 11, when a traditional but innovative menu with six courses will be paired with fine selected wine.
