A bite of Shaanxi at Marco Polo SZ
    2018-03-09  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

IF you’re a huge fan of noodles or any food that made of flour, come to Marco Polo Shenzhen and you’ll not be disappointed.

From now until March 18, foodies can come to the hotel’s Cafe Marco to savor the taste of delicious Shaanxi food from the ongoing Shaanxi Food Festival.

During the lunch buffet, Shaanxi cuisine star chef Chen Wenge and his team will prepare a selection of classic Shaanxi dishes and snacks including shredded pancake in mutton broth, oil-sprinkled noodles, Chinese hamburgers, steamed cool noodles, rice noodles, buckwheat noodles, cool noodles, braised chicken, steamed pork with rice flour, fried pork, braised hairtail steamed meatballs, and steamed marbled pork with dried long beans.

Besides the delicious food, guests can also enjoy a free flow of juices, soft drinks, coffee or tea.

Having been in the trade for more than 30 years, Chen has always been dedicated to making and innovating noodle products and Shaanxi delicacies. In his spare time, Chen often discusses and develops new sauces with his apprentice to keep the menu updated and build up foodies’ expectations.

Besides noodle products, Chen also specializes in making delicacies of China’s various ethnic groups, hoping to pass the traditional delicacies on.
