Following the debut of Guangzhou K11 and its inaugural exhibition, the hotel once again partners with the contemporary art exhibitor at the “Keiichi Tanaami Art Work Exhibition,” offering a new series of art-themed luxurious getaways from June 15 to Aug. 31. The exhibition will feature more than 40 notable works in a wide range of styles by Japanese artist Keiichi Tanaami. A contemporary art exhibition curated by Venus Lau, artistic director of K11 Art Foundation, the “Keiichi Tanaami Art Work Exhibition” will be on viewing at chi K11 art space in Guangzhou K11 till Sept. 2. Spanning from 1960s to the present, this collection of works includes paintings, sculptures and furniture design, offering a panorama of different stages of Tanaami’s artistic career. Born in Tokyo in 1936, Tanaami has been prolific in graphic design, illustration, filmmaking, contemporary art and other fields of cultural production since the 1950s.
