A taste of Germany
    2018-10-19  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

IF you are a meat lover, the five-star Kempinski Hotel Shenzhen is the right place to go. Until the end of this month, the hotel’s Seasons Restaurant is featuring a German feast at its dinner buffet.

Similar to the Chinese, Germans favor pork over other kinds of meat. A long tradition of sausage-making exists in Germany, with more than 1,500 different types of sausage available, most is made with natural casings of pork, sheep or lamb intestines. The Munich white sausage is one variety that is highly popular in Bavaria.

The restaurant’s professional culinary team has prepared the traditional Munich white sausages, as well as roast smoked cured pork knuckles, beef goulash and other authentic German cuisines for guests. There are other on-site cooking choices and German beers to try, apart from the buffet regulars of salads, seafood and desserts.
