Discover top-class Cantonese cuisine
    2018-11-09  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

LANGHAM Hotel Group (LHG) is renowned for its excellence in Chinese cuisine with T’ang Court, Ming Court and Yat Tung Heen in Hong Kong, all awarded prestigious and highly coveted Michelin stars. To continuously inspire and nurture its young Chinese chefs, LHG had organized the Rising Star Chef competition annually for four years. In 2018, the talented chefs from T’ang Court of The Langham Haikou have brought home two gold awards and one silver, among which the icy squab has won the Rising Star Award. The award-winning dishes have been on the menu at T’ang Court, The Langham Haikou since October.

While the stylish interiors and floor-to-ceiling views of Haikou’s city skyline convey a modern setting, T’ang Court respects centuries-old culinary traditions in its present-day authentic Cantonese cuisine.

A group of talented Cantonese chefs led by Alex Chow, master chef with over 39 years’ experience in the industry including at well-known restaurants, insist on only using the finest ingredients to create an exceptional dining experience for gourmet lovers.

Located in the heart of the city and with its classic detailing, generous spaces and tasteful interiors, The Langham Haikou offers 249 rooms and suites which all feature specially commissioned art pieces, plush textiles, and are elegantly styled with a palette of creams and gold to create havens of warmth and refinement.

With its classical design and ultimate elegant concept including “pink” elements representing the British style of the brand, The Langham Haikou is recognized as the leader of the luxury lifestyle in town.

Besides T’ang Court, The Langham Haikou also features the signature Langham Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood, celebrating an elegant tradition that began at The Langham, London in 1865.

Inspired by the studios and workshops of the Renaissance masters, the all-day dining restaurant Atelier features a truly interactive open kitchen, smoke house and an oyster and champagne bar.

Other facilities include Atelier all-day-dining restaurant, Star Bar & Restaurant, Liquary Lounge, a well-equipped fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and the signature award-winning Chuan SPA.
