New culinary director appointed
    2018-11-30  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

JUSTIN BAZIUK has been appointed director of culinary operations at Rosewood Sanya, the only China resort of the ultra-luxury Rosewood Hotels & Resorts brand.

He brings 18 years of experience to his role, spanning his native New Zealand to Australia, China, the UAE and Thailand. He comes to Sanya from his most recent post as executive chef at Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai.

Baziuk began his culinary career at the age of 14 working part-time in a fine dining restaurant in Wellington. He knew early on that his future would take him on a culinary journey, and he has worked his way up through the ranks to senior positions within prestigious hotel groups including Four Seasons, Hyatt, Jumeirah and Mandarin Oriental.

Many of his creations are reinterpretations of classic techniques and ideas paired with new technologies. He sources the finest possible ingredients and applies his experience and talent to bring out the best in them.(SD News)
