AS the much-anticipated Vincent van Gogh exhibition will be staged in town soon, JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao’an will pay tribute to some of the world’s most iconic artworks with bespoke afternoon tea sets honoring van Gogh, reflecting on and commemorating his legendary works.

Combining the passions for art and food, the culinary team has created Loving van Gogh afternoon tea and themed drinks for artful food lovers. The famed works provide plenty of inspiration to the desserts in the set.

Guests can enjoy the Starry Night made of hazelnut chocolate mousse cake and the Sunflowers green tea cup cake. Alongside the pastry selection, guests will also have a taste of traditional gourmet afternoon tea. The delightful journey includes not only the cuisine itself, but also the whole presentation, as the pastries are all exquisitely presented on the framed drawings, making the afternoon tea stand a piece of artwork.

Do not miss the three themed drinks custom created by the creative team, which are named after some of van Gogh’s most renowned works, Sunflowers, Starry Night and van Gogh’s self-portrait. The imaginative cocktails take cues from the masterpieces, leaving mindful moments to the diners.
