
THE Westin Shenzhen Nanshan is bringing a touch of freshness to Shenzhen diners with a newly launched Japanese craft dinner at the hotel’s Seasonal Tastes all-day dining restaurant from now through Sept. 8. Decorated into a sophisticated Japanese-style venue, the Seasonal Tastes restaurant offers a pop-up Japanese menu of new-style and handcrafted creations by guest chef Wu Hongshen, who is the chef de cuisine of W Guangzhou. Wu’s cuisine fully applies classic Japanese techniques and concepts to contemporary, artisanal creations by using both local sources and freshly imported ingredients from Japan. With the chef’s pedigree and creations, guests will have an enjoyable dining experience. The expansive and alluring menu includes an assortment of selections, which allow gourmands to pamper themselves with every single dish. Chilled options include honey ponzu tomato, chilled spinach roll and sweet vinegar miso with mackerel. Salad options include crab roe cucumber salad and Japanese potato salad. Standouts include the simmered chicken and beaten egg in a sweet soy sauce, Teriyaki beef, enoki mushroom roll, and Nanmen duck breast soba noodles.(Tang Li) |
