MARRIOTT International’s Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts has recently announced a partnership with Chandon, a sparkling wine brand under French fine winery and luxury goods company LVMH, to create their first joint-brand limited edition bottle design. The exclusive design is set to redefine French sparkling wine culture with love and introduce European romanticism to Le Meridien hotels and resorts across China. In order to deepen the concept of “Avec Amour” (“Celebrating Love”) to travelers around the world, Le Meridien has specially invited three Chinese celebrities — Taiwanese singer Valen Hsu, renowned moderator Li Ai and rising actress Shen Yue — to share heart-warming stories of “Avec Amour” with their lover, family and friends via video, in which they show why every kind of love is worth celebrating through their personal understanding of love. “‘Avec Amour’ aims to encourage travelers to enjoy every wonderful moment in the most stylish way. We hope that our guests will be enjoying a glass of bubbly in an all-new destination that delivers an unimaginable experience of romanticism,” said Andy Kong, Marriot International’s director of brand and marketing for the Asia-Pacific region. “The Chandon brand, which also hails from France, is a perfect match for Le Meridien with its pursuit of a vibrant and romantic lifestyle. We believe that the coming together of these two brands will refresh the concept of savoring the good life to guests of Le Meridien in China through the compelling traditional sparkling wine culture.” Le Meridien’s “Avec Amour” brand story video will be released at the same time at all Le Meridien hotels and resorts in China, which offer a series of exclusive bubbling romantic privileges. In addition, a diverse range of Chandon-inspired afternoon teas, breakfasts, lunches, and seasonal and festive menus will also be made available at Le Meridien hotels and resorts in China so that guests can celebrate love with their lover, family and friends with good food and drinks during special occasions such as Christmas, Spring Festival and Valentine’s Day.
