In our Dec. 13 coverage of Marriott International’s environmental protection drive on page 15 of the Shenzhen Daily, information about clean energy vehicles was misreported. We misstated that by 2030, China will ban the sale of gasoline-fuelled automobiles to become an international leader in clean energy vehicles, when in fact Hainan Province (not the whole country) will ban the sale of gasoline-fuelled automobiles by 2030.
