MATTHEW ZHOU has been appointed as general manager of The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan, the hotel announced. In his new position, Zhou will be responsible for the hotel’s day-to-day operations and management.

Zhou has been with Marriott International for 20 years and proved himself as general manger in many of the group’s properties, demonstrating rich experience in various markets across China including Xiamen, Shenzhen, Jiangyin and Hefei.

He has also accumulated expertise and knowledge in hotel pre-opening, re-branding and renovation projects. Before this appointment, Zhou was the general manager of Sheraton Dameisha Resort Shenzhen and a winner of Marriott International’s Mustang Award.

In his new capacity, Zhou will lead The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan, setting the standards for growth in a mission to become a dynamic brand among urban lifestyle hotels in China, striving to continually deliver inspiring and flawless services, and innovative products and improve guest experience rapidly.(SD News)
