FROM now through Sept. 30, the pastry chef of Sheraton Shenzhen Nanshan is presenting an exquisite afternoon tea set based on the understanding of Confucian culture and the popular IP image “HelloKongzi.” The afternoon tea is a delicate fusion of Chinese traditional desserts and Western sweets, inviting guests to explore classic elegance and historical charm.

The Confucius-themed afternoon tea includes a variety of skillfully crafted items: the vivid chocolate “HelloKongzi,” and the Four Treasures of the Study which are desserts made in the shapes of ancient Chinese stationary. The traditional Chinese desserts are also a must-try, including the mini almond cake, stuffed red bean paste puff, egg yolk puff pastry, and many others. Additionally, the freshly made scone with raisin is also a classic enticing delicacy. Among the selection of teas the Lounge provides with the refined afternoon tea set is a select oolong tea.
